Marius DC is a Faroese rapper and producer.
Born and raised in one of the smallest countries in the world, Marius Dam Christophersen has been a lifelong believer in himself. At 10 years of age, he was the youngest to ever hold a professional solo visual art exhibit in the Faroes. At 13, he performed as as a backing singer in his first ever stage musical.
After performances at Iceland Airwaves, Trondheim Calling, and The Great Escape, Marius DC is creating a buzz internationaly, and this year he's heading back to Icalnd Airwaves.
Backed by a talented band, the MC delves into the many facets of hip-hop. The artist has performed at most local festivals, and in 2022, won the TV-transmitted competition Sement, and was newcomer of the year at the Faroese Music Awards 2019. His most personal EP yet, Listamaður was released on his 21 birthday November 23th. And was hailed as one of the best releases last year.
